Today went for ORD Shoot which meaning ORD date coming closer but I FAILED! Damn disappointing. I am just suck with shooting. This NS life is not that great, as I have done nothing much in design and photography. Life just stuck in the middle with existing problem that becoming more unbearable.

Just need a change of habit badly. I am just sick of my life now; with bad tme management, unhealthy lifestyle, bad skin complexion! I really need to do something about it now and it is very urgent.

My resolution remains unchanged, Top designer, Top photographer and Artist!

Although there is a lot of setback and failure along the way, but what matters is you take it and learn from it or totally forget about it.

I have done a lot this few months regardless whether it is work or leisure but every passing day is closer to ORD date; the ultimate freedom.

2010 is a good year and more goodness will come. Believed it and it will happen.

Soon to be 22 year old this year at 15 March and I will be giving myself a big present (Key). I looked back and there is nothing much achieved but it is okay as long as you feel 'enough' within yourself. I will be starting plans and ideas to manage myself better .

Be happy, that's what matters.

It Have Been So Long

This blog really is a good avenue to relieve me stress.

This month is nearing the end and waiting for pay day - high pay cos I work hard in HTA. The motivation is the downing of days to freedom which is about 10 more months. I have already planned my path after ORD, however along the way thing doesn't goes smoothly.

The same old problem; my physical fitness and it have been my problem for years. Due to the reason of without constant training(everyday, just like in HTA), I failed the annual IPPT! As a result i won one thing and loss one thing, loss is the one hundred dollar for silver(fat hope) and the other is off day training! Sigh~

I am a person who need constant training to maintain my fitness level, kinda strange enough is that I know the problem yet I am too lazy to prevent the problem. I really need more determination and self-discipline to achieve that something; something BIG

21st year old of Vick

This is the first blog entry for my 21st year old me, life is very hectic for me as currently at NS and continuing building and expand my design portfolio by looking through past works.

Brought a DSLR camera finally and this will be the key to my photography career. As there is a saying, 'in 21st of age, you will be given something resemble a KEY and a WATCH.' In my own perspective, I think that Key will be for vision for the 21st year old of you while the watch is to remind you of the time u have left and reflect on what have u achieved in those 21 years of life.

Currently only get one key for my life; DSLR camera. And there is 7 more keys for me to get while all will be possible if i have the right time management which is the 'WATCH'.

Needless to say, my wish for my 21st Birthday will be.........

I finally pop and with a vocation of my choice. It might not the be the best choice, however I am contented with it already.

This 4 months meet different ppl, some appreciative, kind, warm hearted soul; yet some sadist, unappreciative people, loud and childish. Sometime I just dun understand what the hell they are thinking. But look at the bright side of life, our squad nv fail to entertain myself and fellow mates.

Sad about the sq t-shirt and the mural respect for each other dropped after knowing each other. Laughing? Maybe it is due to my own reason ba, however connection can be a choice oso and it is in my own hand to carry on or severed it. one word - EASY.

HAHAhaha... one step back and be happy, motto for my life. :)

It has been so long since I last update my blog, life is busy and the time left for myself is limited as well. Currently in NS and I realised my flaw and my weakness. I am weak in my language which affects my communication skill; I might not be the worst but not the best either. My philosophy of life is to be the best in whatever thing I do; therefore I think I need to upgrade myself.

Thinking of going for extra English classes that might be able to boost my language standard, but after all it boiled down to one self attitude. The desire to learn and gain more skill is there but whether I am willing to spare the time and effort is other thing.

I am doing a lot of self-assurance and motivation to make changes. I identity my problem first and later noted down all those possible solutions to rectify my problem. It is very effective.

The crucial problem is my time management skill. However I adopted a new time planning concept and it is very useful, although I didn’t achieve 100 percent of what I planned but I at least have a short term target to boost my motivation to accomplish them one by one.

As I have already made a resolution which is to be Singapore Top Designer, therefore steps have been taken to achieve this ambitious vision.

Finally! The days of freedom is going to end and left ton of thing unsettled... I also don't have the determination and attitude to get anything done this few months before enlistment. Those things are what I always wanted to do when I am so overwhelmed with works. But the desire are over when I have the free time and this is when my laziness overturn me. This is bad bad habit...

I ended my working days and now waiting for enlistment, how I wish i can feel better.

Working in an insurance company is fun, happy as I made a lot of new friends, however i give up on becoming an insurance agent cos I failed the test. I quess I have no talent in this area.

Damn it! This feeling is suck to the core!

I kinda thinking that I am not really very good and this is a sucky feeling.

Reflecting through those old days in polytechnic, I realized that I have not really completed all the project and assignments. Perhaps I will go back to school to see how everything, but there is always a barrier stopping me.

I am really lazy and it is a truth, therefore I feel kinda suck though. I have ton of things to be done like the examination to be agent to prepare, letter to sent and the enlistment to bring items to pack.

Life now is full of choices for me, and it is simply to many till I am spoiled for choice. First is the decision on whether to accept NTU or NUS, whereby I choose NUS and the reason is that it is a more experience course in industrial design.

Now, I will be one step toward becoming an insurance agent if I manage to pass that freaking tough module 5 examination. Insurance agent is definitely a good business and it is as if self-employed kinda of job. OWN TIME, OWN TARGET.

I might consider signing on on police to be an inspector as I am a poly graduate, meaning I will have the pay of a undergraduate in no time. This sounded really a good deal, but I need more time to choose.

New Beginning

I finally understand the joy of waiting, but is the not those reactive kind of waiting, rather it is those anticipative waiting.

I have Six main interests and one of them is consider a quiet type of hobby while others might think it is boring. Planting. Can you imagine the seed begin to develop and germinate? It is a fun waiting process. I like this hobby because of my grandpa, as he love gardening a lot and he work for his interest as a gardener therefore he have no regrets in his life....

Since he is not with us, his plant have YET bloomed like spring time and have YET looked lively. I can sense their loneliness. Yelling for someone who used to care for them with undying passion and tenacity. I remembered I have develop undying determination since I have learnt some planting techniques from my ah gong.

I am able to revive a 'dying' special plant which only bloom flower after five hundred years and they are still healthy now. I never give up after I heard from Ah gong of his mission and desire to make it bloom and in my heart I am determine to make his wish come true.

Since it is my own intention and interpretation of my Ah gong's dream, therefore in my heart I already treat this 'special' plant as our 'CAI' heirloom which my ah gong left to us. Tear still in my eye when I type this.

The mini garden outside my grandma and mine house will always protected by me and ah gong. And this heirloom will be passed down from generation to generation till it flourish with blossom of the 5 hundred year old flowers...

There is work tomorrow and I have to wake up at around 6 plus? However I am still awake!

I have been working for 6 weeks in SIM it will be the seventh week soon, but I didn't really save much of the pay.

It is like I almost spent 30 to 40 percent of my pay, and sadly the 7th week is the last week of this SIM job, therefore my bank account's digit will continue to minus away.

You can't describe the advantages of working in a Local University cos you can browse through those books like your house. It is a very interesting business school and currently I am looking at the personal financial module and it is quite chim already.

I am looking at those boring subject I thought initial because I have no choice, because I won't want to slog all my life for money which hold so little value but yet they are so important when you are living in this practical and realistic world. As I have more time to myself to slack, my bank account digit continue to deduct thus I have no time to waste to slack around yet I can't work a job of my interest. This is what we called the pain in the ass when you searching for something.

Sometime you really can't help envy those people who dun really need to worry so much for their life yet they are those people who value less for what they have and continue to live in self-pity and callous life to make other people's life a nightmare. Thumb up for those people and I wish them good luck.

9th of September is a good day and it's a day with 999 if only the year is 2009. This is the day I Stepping into the new world; Police Academy where life is to be thought more relax and easy than Army but some thinks otherwise.

I learnt that we need to set financial goal within a certain period and it must be achievable and I think I can forget about it. Working for two months FULL with OT, but my bank account showed me three digit only. You might think 999 dollar.. WOO LA LA not bad. but it is not NOT the case. FINANCIAL PLANNING? Life is like an endless moving conveyer belt, thus I NEVER stop.

Whenever I gazed upon the sky through misty window, the memories of my ah gong will be there and a sense of anguishes of not giving him enough love and concern while he is still with us.

As you are so persistence and anticipating on something, this let u forget about what actually matters the most. I remembered I mention this in my blog umpteen times but it just didn’t registered into my head. Schooling life is busy but I accompanied Ah gong to the hospital for his regular check up during his treatment but there is less interaction as I expected. This might be the most significant concern and love I gave him but compared to his love to me is really nothing.

I could done more for him and I wishes I had. But I know he loved me and he is always alive in ours and my heart… I really hope he is happy and are smiling above while he is seeing me trying my very best to realize my dream.

I apologized to my dear cameras; as I have not been showering you all with love this few days. It is because I am loss without much motivation, momentum and mood. After looking through experience photographers I realized that I really need a lot of practices because the photographs I took tend to be very standardized.

In short and cruel sentence will be my photography has nothing special about it and it is very plain. I really need that ‘something’ to spice it up.

I later found out that having my own STYLE can solve this problem whereby I undergo much struggles and self-reflection.

I blame for the lack of professional camera like DSLR for my down fall, but the truth is that you need not have to equip yourself with those expensive gadgets to take beautiful and special photographs. This happened because I forgotten to work with what I have and fight for.

Work hard while with brain.

There will be no fear and worries holding your camera at all. ‘I can see what other sees but I can always think what others can’t, and my camera is the medium in transferring my thoughts to others.

This really sounded hard but I willing to try.

I Have Crazy Thought. At 2nd June I selected NUS ID as the course I want, but after that I am a bit regret not choosing NTU ADM but I think I will still regret choosing NTU ADM if I select it. THIS IS SO CONFUSING!!! I WANT to go NUS and NTU LEH!!! Both of them have strong pointS!!! ARG... what if they can accept both of my acceptance and that will be great and I am willing to study 8 years to get two degrees. Really! therefore time is the factor here.... After NS then decide? sigh.

I have been working in SIM university this few days/weeks. I got the chance to look through all those books and it is INSANE! The standard of a university is breath taking and if I am taking Art and social science with my English standard, I will be uni drop out in no time.

The mechanical is not easy task as well and the situation will be worst if you take advance engineering mathematic, as it is about 8 hundren times harder than our EM3B. THIS IS CRAZY. The book is like damn thick and I can only understand first three pages. :) well done.

SIM university is famous for their business study and I might consider taking one after I graduated from NUS?? which is about how many thousand years later...NS then NUS... crazy as I will be old man liao! haha...

There will be 11 more days for me to slack around before the start of new job. I have been thinking and reflecting on my life and I think that I need to make a few changes ( Improvements ).

Self-control - This is one is hard, as I always do anything without considering the consequences. GET ride of my bad habits and etc..

Time-management - I can Sleep more than 18 hours per day can explain it. :)

Concentration - This one is my fatal flaw, whenever I am doing something and the next moment u noticed me, I will be doing another thing. I can't concentrate very well and I am very easily distracted from other things. This is quite a tricky problem for me.

There is no definition of what makes a 'GOOD' job. We work for the sake of money and that's what everyone agree. U might disagree with me but I think your attitude in handling your job proven that whether u like it or not. If the answer is 'YES' u can deserve some accommodations! lol

Now I dun really like this job, so I think it is pointless to continue with it?

Finished spray the back wing support with white surface primer and i almost used up the whole can of tamiya spray can. -.-" I really need more practices. These few parts only and i spent 5 days to complete. :(

This is what I have done for the past two days. This is the back support of the wing on wing gundam and I am using tamiya white primer which cost me a bomb.

As u can SEE. I FAILED this project. Blame on my impatient self which never change, my first gundam painting result was not as good it i expected. Fingers on wet paint. Well done. Luckily it is primer which i can still sand it with water till smooth and repaint it.

Hmm... I think I must be patient while doing spray painting...

It has been three long weeks since I can’t find any job. The picture above describes everything…

How I wish to have more free time doing the stuffs I love during schooling period, but now the time is here, however the urge is gone. Now I wish that I can find a job fast. You might think, how contradicting?! Sometime human beings are creatures which are hard to understand…

Instead of spending the time wisely, I used it to lie lazily on bed; sofa and daydream. :)

Actually the other reason for this behavior of mine is very obvious, because I need to handle other stuff in my life. Like the SYPA preparation and NUS preparation which I am waiting with high anticipation with.

I pursue my dream and hold high expectation in my future career plan, but I myself have not done any thing yet to achieve it. Damn it.

I need the 'Feeling' again, the feeling to realize my dream which is gone for the past three weeks.

Thinking about the thing i will need worried me.

A new laptop for my course in NTU and dun forget the school fee but it is not paid by me but my parent but i am kinda feel bad. I want to be independent but my ass, cos i cant even pay my own polytechnic school fee. Estimate cost = 6k plus 24k = 30k.!

Cool, it is a whole number. Well, it is impossible for me to pay myself. lol

So the only way is to study hard. :)

Currently i am really damn slack and i might as well forget about buying myself a new laptop. Shit rite?

After the passing of restless weeks and the anticipation waiting for NUS and NTU letter is getting weaker, I began to give up.

However today at 5.30pm my mum wake me up putting a few letters she just got from the letter box on my bed. Then she read out loud, 'there is one form NTU and NP'.

I awaken immediately and tear open the letter like animal. one word from the letter confirmed me that i got into NTU. CONGRATULATE U!!!

Gundam 00 GN-001 Exia 1/60 model kit review

Other than working in this few days, I also take day off to enjoy and do the things I like to do at home. I am kinda of tired working in factory enivronment which is not because it is too stressful but the main reason is that I need a job where I can learn more things. I have been searching for lobangs this few days oso.

Alright let start the review on Exia ungraded 1/60 model kit

The package box and it might be biggest

ungraded 1/60 model kit 'BOX' bandai produced so far for ungraded kit

I brought this at sunshine plaza and of course I went to nakamoto's shop first, however I cant anymore stock on this. :( .....

Reason for choosing this ungraded exia is because of the price and the DOM (date of manufacturing) latest = better?

Surprising this 1/60 exia is much easier to build than the scale 1/100 Wing Zero Custom kit. As I used 3 to 4 hours to build this 1/60 exia while I used more than 8 hours to build the wing zero custom.

It is rather similar to MG kit, however one point is that the inner skeleton of the exia is less detailed and less complicated. One advantage of this exia is that it uses BIGGER snap on Armour which can be perfect for those beginners who wanted to learn spray painting. This made masking easier cause of the size. The price is attractive oso. :)

The fingers are all pre-moulded on the plastic frame you just need to position the palm. I remembered the MG wing fingers assembly gave me a headache, especially those ppl with big fingers. haha..

I like the finger as it is more stable then MG, however it is that same as MG rather than PG individual moving finger. See, it can hold that sticker foil easily. haha. I didnt stick the foil cause this model need a lot of painting that I am still currently learning.

The History of Photomania

This is a random post as i now having the second break. Life now is stagnant and boring yet u know you still have a lot of things you haven't achieve and done, however you just dun have the strength.

I FOUND the first love of photography when i was in primary 4 during the science project whereby the teacher wants us to snap all those plants with their scientific names and definitions. That time i was clueless.

I dun have camera and nothing so ask my mum to visit the fujiflim shop to ask for the details. In the end I purchased those disposal type of film camera which is damn ex during my age.

I dun remember i am looking forward for the trip at all. But thing changes drastically, as i can snap photography for TWO HOURS which my mum was nagging already cos it passed the dinner time. I fallen in love in it that particular day.

Fallen in love with photography.

I remember my first camera is a gift by my uncle which is a film camera and i love it and i would save the every bit and pieces of my allowance in order to buy the expensive film. And i also need to save another big sum of money to develop them. All this happened in primary and secondary school. This is how much i love photography.

Not till the hunger for a better camera overwhelmed when i am in polytechnic whereby i think the Handphone's camera really sucky, Therefore i work and save to buy this fujifilm semi pro camera. AND I ONLY MANAGE TO BUY SEMI PRO... that's the point. i needa to work more but the work i have is limited. that's goes with the phrase i always tell myself; 'i am not lucky, so i just needa to worker extra hard than others'

I always believe in it.

However in the NTU application i didnt write all this and the choice of photograhy is in the 5th choice.. cos i fear.

I need a job wont starve.

What to do? i am not practical

but is life made me practical. sad

Using this Chinese New Year to run away from uncomplete tasks, projects and assignments. That stone within my heart is still there and it is making me hard to breathe.

I, Cai Zhixiang, undergoing so much regardless that it is good or bad and i managed to pull through.

My new year reflection;

I fight for what i want and always have fighting spirit, however it is really tiring to put on a strong look in front of people. I always work under pressure and survive without a personal laptop in polytechnic life which i have to rent and basically cant support any shit programs. NVM, all over liao. But come to think of it, i am really independent, and i never fail to complaint in my life that why i have to work extra hard than other people.

Chiong, Chiong and chiong, and manage to buy a semi-pro Camera and other thing which i dun really wish to mention...

I really work hard for the thing I like...

I think that i am really a person without much Luck so i just have to work extra hard than other people... grap any opportunity comes in my way and move forward.

Haiz... It is so demanding and stressful in this period of time. Many things happened and i have no time to update my blog at all; even the pack my room seems impossible. This sem is a so dead for me. i am constandly on the go for projects, assignments and demands. Practically i am damn tried already.
